The Oracle Data Base Administrator is responsible for storing and managing all the data in the Data environment. Usually, an Oracle DBA does the following task.

Install and upgrade the Oracle server and the application tools

Allocates the system storage and plans future storage requirements for the database system

When the developers have designed an application, DBA creates the primary storage structures, primary objects

As per the requirement of the application developers.DBA modifies the database structures, enrolls the users and maintain system security.

With Oracle License agreement, it ensures compliance and control and monitors the user access to the database.

Plans for the backup and recovery of the database.
